Lilienblum 48, the locked gates and the neglect

This deserted building, surrounded by piles of rubble, thousands of cigarette butts stands in the middle of the banking district, and is planned to be transformed in to a boutique hotel.

Faded blue asbestos shade plates surround this building like crooked, rotten, teeth. Soot and rust gather in every crack. Cables and plastic sheets dangle from its sides.

A vagrant sleeping in its bolted doorway was recently evicted.
